March 17thI did this painting for an assignment to the White Rock Art Club my daughter and I belong to. The assignment was "weather". I like the sky. I was amazed that I did the sky. The rest of the painting looks a bit cartoony to me. But... I did learn a lot from this painting. I learned to relax, if you mess up you can just paint over it. It is oil on canvas, my 4th oil painting I have done.
Your sky is absolutely gorgeous! My first love is oils...but lately, I've been enjoying my watercolors.
