Turks Turban Completed

Whew, I finally completed it. Good thing I chose a long lasting squash as my first Botanical Illustration. I have a new scanner and haven't worked all the bugs out yet. For some reason it zooms in on what it thinks is important when scanning and as it did that it cut off the lettering I had so carefully written and also turned it slightly which you really notice on the left squash.

  5. Fabulous work! The color and texture is perfect! As for the scanner, not sure about yours, but for mine, all I have to do is click and drag the line further out if it scans like that. The quality of the scan looks good though! :D

  7. Whoa! Beautiful colors and textures. I hope your scanner will stop deciding what's important and will be able to see everything.

  8. Thank you so much Florence for your comment on my sketch of the kitty cat. You have not posted for a long time too I can see, but it's alright. I am sure we all have got reasons and all for being away for a bit, but the great thing is that EDM will always be here and the door is always opened =)
