First Monthly Sketch Project

This is my entry for the first Monthly Sketch Project. Between coordinating an Art Show for last week and starting back at homeschooling this week I left too little time for this piece. I did enjoy doing it and very happy the Monthly Sketch Project was set up. Thanks Jennifer.

  2. This looks terrific! I like the stone work too. The lighter lines were an excellent choice.
All the best for your "back to homeschooling" week!

  5. Wow... this is really beautiful! I am wondering if you used masking for the white mortar, because if you did, it sure is an excellent job. But if you didn't, you must have had tons of patience!! :)
Anyway, thank you so much for commenting on my drawings, and I am glad my steps is giving people the idea how to get going(it might not be the right way, because that's just how I do it), but a lot of people tend to give up after the initial sketch because they keep thinking that it wouldn't look good in the end. But actually all you need is a little confidence and layers after layers of patience, and you'll get there in the end :) That's the message I am trying to pass on to people at least. But thank you so much for appreciating it ^^
