Finally, Blind Contour Friday with my son again! My daughter had jaw surgery on the 16th of December and needed a lot of care, so I took time off homeschooling (It was the holidays as well) Today for math we played Shut-The-Box so when I asked him what we should draw for Blind Contour Friday he chose it. Mine is on top and his is in the middle. I liked how his handle and chain turned out. When he was finished and looked at it he exclaimed, "Wow, I'm a great drawer." Yippee! for him.
Yippee for both of you. I love this post. I hope your daughter is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteHope your daughter is doing well. My Jaw surgery was postponed. Great Blind Contours. Have no idea about Shut thebox.
ReplyDeleteHi Florence, I LIKE these drawings! I think "Shut the Box" is an excellent model for blind contour drawing; neat shapes and things to look at. So wonderful that your son draws with you. I hope your daughter recovers quickly. Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteI am still amazed by how people are able to achieve such level of likeliness with blind contours. I know that I'll just come out with worm trails if I even try. =) Thanks for your comments Florence, I really like the box!
ReplyDeleteexcellent
